  • WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO YOU SERVE?
    That's a tough one because we don't adhere to any specific cuisine. We like to get creative with unique combinations of spices, flavors, and textures from all around the globe. You'll find plants, fun proteins, lots of herbs, citrus, pickled things, and crunchy bits on our menus. We shoot for exceptionally well-balanced food, that leaves you feeling better than when you walked in. Our beverage program is designed to pair well with our food offerings and is crafted in the same vibrant style.
  • DO YOU HAVE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
    Nope. We have our standalone location in Downtown Bellingham at 114 Prospect Street.
  • DO YOU OFFER WIFI?
    Yes. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi Monday-Friday. Wi-Fi is not available on weekends. We also ask guests to honor a 60 minute Wi-Fi time limit during busy periods.
  • WHAT EXACTLY DOES BANTER DO?
    In simple terms, we are an all-day food and beverage establishment offering dine-in and takeout food/bev, as well as a vibrant space for your most exciting private events, and functions. We like to try things out; we're not afraid to make mistakes. Our dishes are colorful, produce-forward, and will defy your expectations. We like to support the community around us, and we ensure our employees are treated right. We supply Bellingham with an ever-changing, always-banging Spotify playlist. Sometimes we work, mostly we banter.
  • DO YOU CATER?
    Yes and no . . . We specialize in on-premise small - to mid-sized events (typically between 25-75 people). We do not offer offsite catering a simply due to feasibility. We love us a good event, and even if we can't cater for you we are happy to offer professional recommendations. You can find more details about our event services here.
  • ARE YOU VEGAN/VEGETARIAN?
    No. We are certainly plant heavy, and craft our offerings in ways that can be easily modified to accommodate common dietary needs. Our menus change frequently and always features some meat and dairy proteins.
  • AT WHAT TIMES OF DAY CAN I ORDER WHAT TYPES OF FOOD/BEV?
    From the hours of 8am - 3pm, we serve our full breakfast, lunch, coffee, and reduced bar menu. From the hours of 8pm - 4pm, we serve our full coffee and limited bar menu. From the hours of 4pm - 9pm we serve our full dinner and full bar menu. *Our kitchen is closed 3pm-4pm* *Our kitchen is closed every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm for a deep clean*
  • DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?
    We currently do not accept reservations. We operate as a counter service and find your own table model which makes it difficult to schedule reservations. We definitely encourage you to still come in as it very uncommon to not find a space. For private events please email: info@banterhospitality.com
  • ARE YOU ALL AGES OR 21+?
    We are officially an ALL AGES venue at ALL TIMES of the day. We are not the most well suited for children, nor have kids focused offerings. With that said, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to dine with us so long as they are well behaved, courteous to our staff and respectful of our space.
  • WILL YOU DONATE TO MY EVENT?
    Generally speaking, we are happy to support your cause. Please tell us about your organization and let us know specifically how our donation will be utilized.   • SOMEBODY TOLD ME YOU'RE ZERO-WASTE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
    We do NOT operate at zero-waste, but we are mindful of the waste we create and take active steps to drastically minimize landfill contributions. We do this by seeking operational efficiencies whenever possible and composting everything we can. We encourage everyone to bring their own mug when purchasing beverages to go.
  • ARE YOU HIRING?
    We are constantly growing and our staffing needs change often. Because of this we are always looking for talent, and most of the time can find a position for all star applicants who share our values, are ambitious about taking on challenges, and will help us grow.   • DO YOU ALLOW DOGS OR ANIMALS?
    We have a small patio that your furry friends are welcome to hang out on weather depending. Due to Health Department code, we simply cannot allow your pet to come inside the restaurant space. Service animals are allowed inside.
  • ARE YOU OPEN ON ____ HOLIDAY?
    We are open most holidays. Our google listing will reflect our accurate hours, as well as our voicemail box will be updated to communicate closures. If these resources say we are open, we are open. Come say hey!
