  • WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO YOU SERVE?
    We craft vibrant, globally inspired food and bev that is both culinarily driven and comfortingly familiar. We don't adhere to any specific cuisine; we like to get creative with unique combinations of spices, flavors, and textures from all around the globe. You'll find mostly plants, fun meat and dairy proteins, lots of herbs, citrus, pickled things, and crunchy bits on our menus. We shoot for exceptionally well-balanced food, that leaves you feeling better than when you walked in. Our beverage program is designed to pair well with our food offerings and is crafted in the same vibrant style.
  • DO YOU HAVE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
    Nope. We have one location in Downtown Bellingham located at 114 Prospect Street.
  • DO YOU OFFER WIFI?
    Yes and No. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi with a 90-minute time limit during busy periods. If you need Wi-Fi to knock out some quick work over a coffee, we are here for you. If you want a place to camp out and work/study for hours on end, luckily there are a handful of great places in Bellingham to do that, but we are not that place. Our focus here is to serve delish food/bev and have fun doing it. Wi-Fi is a plus, but not our core product. Thank you for understanding.
  • WHAT EXACTLY DOES BANTER DO?
    In simple terms, we are an all-day food and beverage establishment offering dine-in and takeout food/bev, as well as a vibrant space for your most exciting private events and functions. We like to try things out; we're not afraid to make mistakes. Our dishes are colorful, mostly made from plants, and will defy your expectations. We like to support the community around us, and we ensure our employees are treated right. We supply Bellingham with an ever-changing, always-banging Spotify playlist. Sometimes we work, mostly we banter.
  • DO YOU CATER?
    Yes and no. We specialize in on-premise small to mid-sized events (typically between 25-75 people). Sometimes we will take on off-premise catering opportunities if it's a good mutual fit. It never hurst to ask, and we love us a good event; even if we can't cater for you we are happy to offer professional recommendations. You can find more details about our event services here.
  • ARE YOU VEGAN/VEGETARIAN?
    No. We are certainly plant forward, and craft our offerings in ways that can be easily modified to accommodate common dietary needs. Our menus change frequently and always features some meat and dairy proteins.
  • AT WHAT TIMES OF DAY CAN I ORDER WHAT TYPES OF FOOD/BEV?
    We are open 7-days a week from 8am - 6pm. Our full food and beverage menu is available within those hours. Our Happy Hour deals are available from 4pm - 6pm as is the entire food and beverage menu.
  • DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?
    We do not accept reservations. We operate as a counter service and find your own table model which makes it difficult to schedule reservations. If you have a larger party we can talk about private event or large group Happy Hour options. We definitely encourage all group sizes to still come in as it very uncommon to not find a space.   • ARE YOU ALL AGES OR 21+?
    We are an ALL AGES venue at ALL TIMES of the day. We are not the most well suited for children, nor have kids focused offerings. With that said, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to dine with us so long as they are well behaved, courteous to our staff and respectful of our space.
  • WILL YOU DONATE TO MY EVENT?

  • HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?

  • SOMEBODY TOLD ME YOU'RE ZERO-WASTE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
    We do NOT operate at zero-waste, but we are mindful of the waste we create and take active steps to drastically minimize landfill contributions. We do this by seeking operational efficiencies whenever possible and composting everything we can. We encourage everyone to bring their own mug when purchasing beverages to go.
  • DO YOU ALLOW DOGS OR ANIMALS?
    We have a small patio that your furry friends are welcome to hang out on weather depending. Due to Health Department code, we simply cannot allow your pet to come inside the restaurant space. Service animals are allowed inside.
  • ARE YOU OPEN ON ____ HOLIDAY?
    We are open most holidays. Our google listing will reflect our accurate hours, as well as our voicemail box will be updated to communicate closures. If these resources say we are open, we are open. Come say hey!
  • ARE YOU HIRING?
    We are constantly growing and our staffing needs change often. Because of this we are always looking for talent, and most of the time can find a position for all star applicants who share our values, are ambitious about taking on challenges, and will help us grow.
